What does account health actually measure?

Account health is Amazon’s running judgement of your operation: order defect rate, late dispatch, cancellations, valid tracking and policy compliance, each with thresholds. Drift past them and the consequences escalate from warnings to suspension of the account itself.

It matters before anything breaks, because the same signals feed the Buy Box. Two sellers offering the same product at the same price do not split the sales evenly: the one with the cleaner operation wins more of them.

For healthcare brands fulfilling their own orders, the bar is effectively higher: the category’s customers are less forgiving and the products less replaceable. Boring, reliable operations are a competitive weapon here, not a hygiene factor.
